The Servest Group has signed an Offer of Purchase to acquire 100% of the shareholding in the EasiPark group of companies. The deal, effective from September, is subject to final Servest Board approval and when concluded, will see both companies merge into a single consolidated parking management business trading under Servest Parking. EasiPark was awarded the 15 year build-operate-transfer contract for the development of a 350-bay car park and new car hire facility at Pietermaritzburg Airport in Pietermaritzburg. Pietermaritzburg Airport is a busy regional airport, handling over 70,000 passengers a year and with up to 10 scheduled flights a day between Johannesburg and Pietermaritzburg.
