EasiPark awarded Airport contract

EasiPark has been awarded a 15 year build-operate-transfer contract for the development of public parking facilities at Pietermaritzburg Airport.

Pietermaritzburg Airport is a busy regional airport, handling over 110,000 passengers a year and with up to 12 scheduled flights a day between Johannesburg and Pietermaritzburg.

EasiPark is renowned for its innovative approach to making parking facilities work, and this Airport project is a classic example of that.

The BOT contract, valued in excess of R55 million, will see owners, Msunduzi Municipality benefitting from EasiPark’s full range of professional parking management services. These include;

• Complete design of the parking layout

• Construction of the parking decks and surfaces

• Supply of pay-on-foot parking equipment

• Management and operation of the 350-bay carpark
